Polished concrete
Concrete floors polished by machine to a sheen, in whole houses and warehouses.
Mechanically polished concrete is ground, then refined with finer and finer diamonds until the concrete itself takes a sheen. The shine comes from the slab, not from a coating on top.
It goes further than honed concrete, which stops at a matt finish, and it is mostly used indoors. It is not the same as grind and seal, where a sealer on top gives the shine.
We polish concrete floors in whole houses and across warehouses, from Brisbane through to the Sunshine Coast. Cracks and patches show in the finished floor, and so does any stone the grinding reaches, so we look at the slab before recommending anything.
