Epoxy flake floors
A resin coating for concrete floors, with coloured flakes under a clear topcoat.
An epoxy flake floor is a resin coating on a concrete slab. Coloured flakes are scattered into the wet epoxy and sealed under a clear topcoat, for a speckled finish. It is common on garage floors, workshops and sheds.
Unlike honed or polished concrete, the finish is a coating on the slab, so the concrete under it has to be sound, clean and dry for it to bond.
We look at the concrete before recommending anything. We lay epoxy flake floors from Brisbane through to the Sunshine Coast.
